WHAT ARRIVES

GROWING IT
Plant in full sun to part shade in average, well-drained soil, and keep it consistently moist. Feed lightly through the growing season. Space plants 18 to 24 inches apart. Each plant grows 2 to 3+ feet tall and 20 to 24 inches wide.
CLIMATE
Perennial in USDA zones 10 to 11. In colder areas, grow it as a summer annual, or bring it indoors to a bright spot before the first frost.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Coleus is grown for its leaves, not its flowers. Pinch off flower spikes as they appear to keep the plant bushy and colorful. Leaf color is richest with some sun; in deep shade, the red may look darker and the green edges narrower.
